Attraverso il Progetto EMPOWER, Engineering Italy Solutions si è dotata degli strumenti necessari per lo sviluppo di una serie di prodotti e servizi in grado di valorizzare ed incrementare notevolmente le competenze e la capacità produttiva del personale interno all’Azienda.
Gli strumenti acquisiti sono necessari a costruire un’infrastruttura Hardware / Software per lo sviluppo e il supporto all’erogazione di prodotti e servizi basati su tecnologia di Identificazione a Radio Frequenza (RFID) applicati nel settore dei trasporti e della logistica.
Gli strumenti afferenti il paradigma Industria 4.0 che andranno a comporre l’infrastruttura sono suddivisi in:

• Hardware per la stampa e la lettura e di transponder RFID. Soluzioni tecnologiche per la realizzazione di un sistema RFID completo per la programmazione e la stampa autonoma dei Tag RFID con etichetta; set di attrezzature per la lettura dei tag presso la sede del cliente costituiti da dispositivi reader fissi e mobili.
• Piattaforma Software per la gestione di flussi RFID UHF ISO 18000 con standard EPC2 ed applicazione per moduli reader RFID portatili. Piattaforma software per la gestione dell’intero flusso operativo dei Tag RFID sia in fase di programmazione e stampa che in lettura; applicazione per reader RFID mobili che consente la gestione delle operazioni sui Tag, la connessione dei dispositivi al sistema sviluppato e la trasmissione delle informazioni acquisite alla Piattaforma Software

Thanks to EMPOWER Project, Engineering Italy Solutions has equipped itself with the necessary tools for the development of a series of products and services capable of enhancing and significantly increasing the skills and production capacity of the Company's internal staff.
The tools acquired are necessary to build a Hardware / Software infrastructure for the development and support of the delivery of products and services based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology applied in the transport and logistics sector.
The tools relating to the Industry 4.0 paradigm that will make up the infrastructure are divided into:

• Hardware for printing and reading and RFID transponders. Technological solutions for the creation of a complete RFID system for the autonomous programming and printing of RFID tags with labels; set of equipment for reading tags at the customer's site consisting of fixed and mobile reader devices.
• Software platform for the management of UHF ISO 18000 RFID flows with EPC2 standard and application for portable RFID reader modules. Software platform for managing the entire operational flow of RFID tags both in the programming and printing phase and in reading; application for mobile RFID readers that allows the management of Tag operations, the connection of devices to the developed system and the transmission of the acquired information to the Software Platform
